Hereby this paper we have attempted to study the impact of morphometric characteristics, in human life and activity in the Kaçandoll river basin. A large number of activities including the social ones, construction of roads, settlements, accumulations, and other infrastructural facilities, but also in the context of land development, are influenced by relief. The Kaçandoll basin lies in the north-eastern part of Kosovo, in the morphological aspect it belongs to the Kopaonik mountain range, while the southernmost part of the basin lies in the valley of Lebana. Kaçandoll river flows as a hydrological artery in this area, the right branch of the Llap river. In order to recognize the geomorphologic features of a given space, it is important to calculate the morphometric parameters, whereby relief forms are categorized. Hence, these most important parameters are vertical fragmentation, horizontal fragmentation, relief slope. The two methods that occupy a special place were statistical and GIS/RS, thus helping us to calculate and present the results that we achieved. This study presents a practical concept of relief wherein people carry out their activities, whereas based on the principle of causality it helps to establish an order for existence.
