Both in other major urban centers of Kosovo and the center of Fushë Kosovë has increased in the last two decades, conditioning new structures which are then decisive in determining decision-making policies. After the analysis of geoinformation, the city was zoned based on the relevant structure: housing, industry, center, greenery, sports and recreation, traffic and agricultural areas. The zonal design of the urban center of Fushë Kosovë is based on the need for sustainable, balanced and long-term development of the protection and planned development of the municipality for Spatial Planning. Urban zoning based on modern methodology aims to create opportunities for easier use, monitoring, management and review. The research created opportunities for identification of all structures that exist in this area, while the results obtained will serve as a useful basis for planning a more sustainable urban area.
In this research are included the part of specific risks for the urban area of Fushë Kosovë as a determinant in the process of urban development.
